Twinned Towns

Faversham has been twinned with Hazebrouck in Northern France for over 50 years. The Town Council actively supports Faversham Town Twinning Association, an independent association promoting residents knowledge and understanding of Hazebrouck and Northern France.

The Association achieves its objectives by:

Encouraging visits by individuals and groups to and from our two towns, particularly children and young people
Promoting the development of the cultural, economic, educational, sporting and tourism links between the towns
Organising local activities which promote understanding of the culture and society of Hazebrouck and Northern France.
Membership is open to everyone and entitles you to free or reduced price admission to Association talks, courses and social events and priority for visits to Hazebrouck and other places in Northern France and Flanders.
